About the Author
Dr. Silvija Vig – a renowned expert in business ethics, compliance, and anti-corruption.
Dr. Vig has dedicated her career to behavioral and business ethics, building organizational culture, implementing ethics and compliance programs, and fighting corruption. With over 20 years of managerial experience in Croatia and the region, she holds a PhD from the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb, where she researched The Impact of Business Ethics on Corporate Performance.
Dr. Vig is a recipient of prestigious certifications from two leading U.S. ethics and compliance associations:
- Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional – International (CCEP-I)
- Leading Professional in Ethics and Compliance (LPEC)
She is also a certified trainer for:
- ISO 37301 Compliance Management Systems
- ISO 37001 Anti-bribery Management Systems
- ISO 31000 Lead Risk Manager
- Certified Data Protection Officer
Since 2018, she has been a member of the Commission for Corporate Social Responsibility and Anti-Corruption at the International Chamber of Commerce – ICC Croatia.
Dr. Vig has been a long-time guest lecturer at the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb, and taught management courses for over a decade at the University of Zagreb and other higher education institutions. Currently, she is an adjunct faculty member at Rochester Institute of Technology Croatia, where she teaches Business Ethics and CSR.
She has authored numerous academic articles on business ethics, compliance, and organizational culture and works as a consultant and trainer through her company, CODUPO Compliance, specializing in compliance, ethics, and anti-corruption.
