The goal of the workshop:
The ethical codex is a crucial element of the compliance program that defines acceptable and unacceptable forms of behavior, aiming to raise awareness about the organization’s values. The workshop’s objective is to provide a detailed overview of creating an effective ethical codex and ensuring its alignment with other internal acts and regulations of the organization. This workshop also explains what an ethical codex is, the types of codices that exist, why it is important, and how it is implemented in both private and public sector organizations.
For whom is the workshop intended?
Compliance managers, human resource managers, and anyone responsible for the development and implementation of a code of conduct, ethical policies, and compliance programs within their company. This includes those who want to understand the meaning and importance of ethical codex.

Silvija has directed her professional career towards compliance, behavioral and business ethics, and organizational culture building. She gained work experience for twenty-five years in managerial positions in Croatia and the region. She owns the following certificates:

Silvija is the author of the book “Business Ethics – How to make ethical decisions and do business successfully” 2nd edition, which is mandatory literature at several faculties in the region.
Silvija teaches Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility at Rochester Institute of Technology (R.I.T.) Croatia
She earned her doctorate at the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb on the topic “The impact of business ethics on the success of company operations.” She is also the author of numerous scientific papers and a lecturer at several higher education institutions.
Silvija is a member of the board of the Commission for Corporate Social Responsibility and the Fight Against Corruption of the International Chamber of Commerce – ICC Croatia.
